Acclaim's last ECW game wasn't exactly well received. It was largely dismissed as a clone of the company's last wrestling game, WWF Attitude. ECW Anarchy Rulz is Acclaim's latest attempt at an ECW-licensed wrestling game. The game will contain more than 60 wrestlers, including new wrestlers such as the Sandman, Masato Tanaka, and Dusty Rhodes. New modes will also be added, such as inferno match, hate match, dumpster match, and team rumble.

The commentary will now contain Joel Gertner as well as Joey Styles, and real ECW music will be featured in the game's intros.

The PlayStation version of Anarchy Rulz is scheduled for August.
