This morning, Sierra Studios announced the development of Warrior Kings, a 3D real-time strategy game by UK-based Black Cactus. The game is set in a medieval fantasy world called Orbis, and will include both standard real-time strategy formulas like resource and military management, as well as new gameplay ideas like espionage and the ability to choose a good or evil path.

Warrior Kings will have a massive single-player campaign that features a computer opponent that learns and adapts to your techniques, and the battles will take place on fully deformable 3D terrain. The multiplayer component of the game will have over 50 maps that can be played by up to 16 players simultaneously over either a LAN or Internet connection.

We'll be taking a closer look at Warrior Kings tomorrow morning, so stay tuned for more details from the game.
