EA's March Madness has March Madness

College basketball game from Electronic Arts gets Selection Sunday Bracket Pack with updated seedings, court for NCAA Tourney.

Greg Paulus and Duke--out in the second round?

For those still having trouble figuring out their picks for Creighton versus Nevada, Marquette versus Michigan State, and North Carolina versus Eastern Kentucky (OK, maybe not so much the last one), help is on the way.

Just in time for the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, also known as March Madness, Electronic Arts has released the Selection Sunday Bracket Pack for its college hoops sim NCAA March Madness 07. The pack is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace for 250 Microsoft points ($3.12).

The download includes updated ratings and seedings, as chosen by the NCAA Selection Committee, for all 65 teams in the tournament. Also featured is a Final Four-branded Georgia Dome basketball court, where the real-world finals take place on April 2.

Izzo's Spartans doing a dance in the big dance...then losing to Marquette?

According to EA's simulation of the entire field, the Final Four will include the defending champs University of Florida, as well as University of North Carolina, Pittsburgh University, and Texas A&M University.

NCAA March Madness 07 is rated E for Everyone and is currently available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2. For more information, read GameSpot's review.

Why would anyone pay for this? This should defintiely be a free download. I could care less if my brackets matches in the game this year NCAA Basketball brackets. The updated ratings and seeding it just some changed numbers. EA is always trying to milk their fans for more money. This is another reason why I passed on most of EA's sport games last year. What a joke.

I used to wonder why roster updates weren't available for the various sports games each season. Then I realized that they were selling them every year. I guess that allowing you to update last year's game isn't a good way to sell you this year's game. On that point alone, I'm a little surprised to see this update support for this title.

I thought this was cool until I saw the price. Too bad console games still havent stepped up and be more open to community mods...

Release a sub par game that does not even rate a 7 then try to make more money off it. Sound like the EA I have know of late. They need to head their heads out of their butts 2K is kicking their butt of late. What is going on with EA.

Might as well get out my wallet and throw some cash from my window, just as useful

I guess it's good they are adding content after it's release. But really this shouldn't cost anything, it should just be free.

I too have A&M in the final four. Along with UNC, Florida. And for some reason Virginia Tech. Not sure how that happened.
