Earthworm Jim 3D Moves On

Interplay informs GS News that EJ3D is not on hold and reveals new details on the game.

Interplay informed GS News this morning that talk of Earthworm Jim 3D currently being in stasis is untrue. "It's not on hold," says Interplay's Erica Price. "We were just reworking the 3D model."

The game picks up right after the events at the end of Earthworm Jim 2 and takes place entirely inside Jim's own mind. Apparently, taking a cow to the head has given EJ a concussion, and he must strive to put his psyche together, confronting new and old characters along the way. Though no exact date has yet been set, the game seems on track for a late summer release for the Sony PlayStation and Nintendo 64.
