Earthsiege Renamed
Can you say Earthsiege three times fast? Confusing, huh? Sierra thought so, too.
Sierra notified GameSpot News on Tuesday that it had renamed Earthsiege 3 to Starsiege.
Why? Dynamix, the developer of the title, says that the story with Earthsiege was too confining. Part of the reason is that the new title takes place 30,000 years after the first Earthsiege and gamers will be setting off into the stars to exploit new planets.
The original Earthsiege site has also been rechristened with a new URL, www.starsiege.com, and some new screenshots.
