Electronic Arts has announced that it has reached an agreement with Namco that will allow the company to publish Namco's upcoming GameCube and Xbox lineup in Europe. The first games to fall under this agreement are Dead to Rights, games based in the Pac-Man universe, as well as Soul Calibur II.

"EA's strong presence and market leadership, together with their ability to launch major franchises, make them the best choice to help Namco bring these exciting franchises to new platforms," said Kevin Yanagihara, director of Namco.
