EA Bringing Titanfall, Dragon Age, and Battlefield to E3

Publisher announces schedule for next week's show and every game--announced so far at least--that will be there.

With just days to go before E3 kicks off on Monday, Electronic Arts today announced its plans for the event, including details about its press conference and what games will be on display during the show.

EA's E3 press conference starts at 12 noon PDT on Monday, June 9. The show, called "EA World Premiere: E3 2014 Preview," promises a first look at Battlefield Hardline, Madden NFL 15 and other upcoming EA Sports games, as well as Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Sims 4, and more.

The publisher plans to make six game announcements at E3, including a new game from Burnout creator Criterion. EA teases that fans will also get a look at new projects from Battlefield developer DICE (maybe Mirror's Edge 2?) and Dawngate studio Waystone Games during the conference.

GameSpot will carry a live-stream of the event, as well as developer interviews and instant-analysis video features immediately following the presentation.

Below is a list of all the games--the ones announced so far at least--that will be on display at E3. EA also announced today that Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment will showcase the game's upcoming June title update, which introduces titan customization, titan burn cards, and a new game mode called Marked for Death.

;Very surprised that there's no Mass Effect on their schedule. I would have also been happy with a new Crysis.

Don't worry, I have a feeling Mass Effect will be there. Don't forget who wrote this article.

Could microsoft had bought the mass effect series???

Unless they bring a new IP, this is going to be boring as hell, even with Dragon Age.

Battlefield and Dragon Age are my only interests at this point from EA.  Was hoping for at least one new IP, besides Titanfall :(  Mostly just continued sequelssssss....  What about some new Star Wars games?

It just dawned on me, Bioware is working on three things: DAI, ME4 and an unannounced new IP.

ME4 would be great.   The NEW one would be really great.  I'll take a teaser at this point.

How about a new IP for a change...

Being the Sony fan I am, at this point I'm almost more interested to see Microsoft's press conference than ea's.

I like Titanfall and all, but, stuff like Titan customization should have been there at launch.  The game seriously lacks many things IMHO.

@Shantmaster_K My gut tells me that Bioware is going to stagger DA and ME games, but maybe they'll at least give us a teaser for ME.

@olddadgamer I'm going to bet that the new IP won't be anywhere near a playable form yet. If anything we'll get some fancy CG teaser for that. I'm sure they had to spend six months to a year in pre-production for that, considering they are likely designing something meant to expand over the course of at least three games. ME4 could be possible if they started production shortly after the completion of ME3.

@olddadgamer I want some lotery numbers since you can predict the future. Also, ME3 ending, subjective. And awful. If one uses logic then it gets even worse.

They can't bl0w their whole load on the first game. It has franchise written all over it.

@spartanx169x @olddadgamer Dude... that series is some of the best ever made.  Don't let the "the ending ruined it" folks fool you.  It's 99.8% great.

And better if you play with the extended cut.

@Sevenizz how can it be a francise, how many different ways can two robots fight the only reson anyone even knows anything about this game is because of who made it the game itself doesnt look that interesting

imajinn

@olddadgamer @imajinn I don't understand why they wouldn't bring all of those back. Makes no sense to me, as they were all awesome games.

@lrdfancypants 2-3 months old isnt new now, they have other francises id rather see get new games than some new ip

tightwad34

@alaannn Because they will milk it for all it's worth, which apparently isn't much seeing how the hype didn't come close to the actual game.

Sevenizz

If you think Titanfall is just about robots bashing other robots - you seriously need to educate yourself and actually read articles/watch videos before coming to comment sections looking utterly stupid.

@alaannn @Sevenizz  There are a number if things they can do to make a better game. Bigger maps, More players  in a single game. The addition of a true single player campaign. More variety in mechs.

@imajinn @olddadgamer They were.  Wasn't joking.  Archon especially.  That was so ahead of its time.

If they can reboot Wasteland, why not BT?

Ha I was just making fun of titanfall. Totally new idea. It's called FPS and from what I hear it's a new genre that might take off.

@Sevenizz i did watch a little bit of gameplay and thats what it looks like too me robots fighting each other, are you thick or somthing or you just going to follow me around saying nothing worthwhile

@spartanx169x @alaannn @Sevenizz i suppose a good single player game could be different with destruction,it should of had that already to be honest i just dont see to many people rebuying it

Sevenizz

Grats, you watched a trailer, except, you're only in a Titan maybe 5% of the time - a lot less if you're bad at it.
