Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher will be making a guest appearance in the upcoming turn-based tactics mobile game, Tom Clancy's Elite Squad. Announced at E3 2019, the game will include a variety of other iconic characters from Ubisoft's Tom Clancy franchise, including those from The Division, Rainbow Six Siege, and Ghost Recon.

While Tom Clancy's Elite Squad is far from a new Splinter Cell game, the appearance of Sam Fisher at least builds hope that Ubisoft will make a new game in the franchise in the near future. The last Splinter Cell game we got was Splinter Cell: Blacklist in 2013.
