E3 2014: New Dead Rising 3 DLC Filled With Capcom Love, Available Now
Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX+ Alpha is a new DLC arcade adventure set within the Dead Rising 3 universe; it's filled with Capcom references and is available now on Xbox Live.
Capcom has announced a new downloadable content pack for Dead Rising 3, and it is available now. During Microsoft's E3 2014 press conference, Capcom premiered a new trailer for Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX+ Alpha that described the DLC as a four-player arcade adventure. It was also filled with references to Capcom's stable of classic gaming franchises, include the likes of Captain Commando, Darkstalkers, and Street Fighter.
Dead Rising 3 was released exclusively for the Xbox One in November of last year. In his review, GameSpot's own Martin Gaston praised the game's silliness and wide weapon selection, stating, "Despite a wonky presentation and obvious technical hiccups, Capcom has successfully made Dead Rising 3 a more welcoming experience than its harsh predecessors."
No word yet on whether or not this DLC will also be coming to the PC release of Dead Rising 3, which is slated for launch later this year.
