E3 2014: GameSpot's Best of E3 2014 Winners

We've seen dozens of games at E3. So which ones do we think deserve to be named the best?

The trailers have all been released. All of the demos are done. E3 2014 is over, which means its time to unveil GameSpot's picks for the best games at this year's show. Could your Gamespot interviewers be any more embarrassing. Not listening to answers from their guests (For the last time there is NO Eiffel Tower in UNITY because it wasn't built until 1889) and forgetting the name of the Director you are interviewing 5 seconds in the interview - you silly Hobbit!!!

So - is single player game play is dead then?  I don't want to play multiplayer games.  All of these games are of no interest to me.  I guess the game companies are saying screw you to people like me.

I was a fan of the AC series but I guess I will be giving that up because I am not going to buy any game that forces me to multiplayer or tries to force me to buy an XBOX1 or PS4 against my will.

There is no such thing as a "Best of Winners", you either win, or you don't.  That being said, E3 is a PRESENTATION, not a competition so to label it as such is only going to cause consumers to bicker about their latest purchase(s).  How about titling the article something more appropriate.  Maybe, oh I don't know, just ask for opinions instead of making people present them in a shitty way?

This comments section is lacking a good deal of the typical garbage that populates the usual console wars articles, but really, couldn't we just stop trying to instigate for no other sake than sensational headlines?

AC:U a new beginning.....again :)

The franchise needs to start with a solid story and focus on developing that rather than just hopping through time with contrived story lines. The rest is just lip service form Ubi to the kids in my opinion.

No mans sky is still being a promise of a good game (light years away). The Witcher tho is real.

AC Unity??!?? Please cmon people how is that a most anticipated title for you all that's just moronic. I'm going with Witcher 3 it's going to be one of the best RPGs ever we all know it and can feel it, the Witcher 2 touched the surface of greatness and now we will be gifted with gaming gold. Don't know how Destiny is not on here but after playing the alpha of say it's gunna be another huge success for Bungie that game is unexpectedly incredible totally unique

No mans sky is a amazing idea. It is one of the best ideas ive ever heard of. Witcher 3 is also a amazing tittle to look forward to. No mans sky might not be great but it does have the ability to be one of the best games ever. And some one will eventually take their idea and turn it into gold if they dont.

How did Destiny miss the list here? I don't have faith in many games being a smashing success, but I think that Destiny will be spectacular

You can get the whole Witcher trilogy on STEAM right now for LESS than the price of Call Of Duty. Practically the whole trilogy for a new release price. The Witcher 3 could very well end up being the best 3rd person RPG ever made. The Story (and most important for me the universe of the story and the believability of its characters IN the story), the combat is fun and challenging on high difficultys till you get good at it, the skill developments are fun to upgrade. Everything is about as good as a 3rd person RPG gets and its open world to.

There were a lot of good games, but no man's sky and Witcher 3 are the 2 games I'm really looking forward to. I wish I could have added Zelda to that list.

In my opinion the best is Evolve. But I'm also excited for all the others on the list. Even "Carl" of Duty looks fun.

No Splatoon and No Bayonetta, probably the too games that gained the most hype at E3 don't make the cut? Cool.

@RaggyRock That is a good list. I would probably have left games out that weren't playable...Those games will unfortunately not be seen until holiday 2015 and possibly later.
