Tonight during Sony's E3 press conference, the company announced that the beta for Bungie's upcoming multiplayer shooter Destiny will begin on July 17, first on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
But that's not all. PlayStation 4 owners can actually play an alpha version of the game starting on Thursday. You can visit www.GreatnessAwaits.com/destiny for more information. The alpha runs June 12 through June 15.
There's no word on when the Destiny beta will come to other platforms, like the Xbox 360 or Xbox One. Destiny launches in full on September 9 across PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
