E3 2002: Total Immersion Racing preshow report

Empire Interactive has released the first screenshots of Total Immersion Racing, its driving game for the Xbox and PlayStation 2. The game features an extensive career mode that asks the player to climb to the top of the GT rankings using an 8-liter prototype vehicle. Empire has really emphasized the computer AI in the game, and the company claims that it will adjust to your driving style and will even form grudges against you if you're too aggressive.

Total Immersion Racing is being developed at Empire's UK-based Razorworks studio and is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2002.
