E3 2002: First Rocky GBA screens

Rocky is coming to the Game Boy Advance, and we've got the first screenshots.

Comments

Following the unveilings of the Rocky games for the Microsoft Xbox, the Sony PlayStation 2, and the Nintendo GameCube, game developer and publisher Rage has now released the first screenshots from the Game Boy Advance version of the game. The GBA version features a number of options the console versions have. Players assume the role of Rocky Balboa, a boxer who wants to fight his way to the top. As players proceed from event to event, they can also increase their abilities in training modes, increasing Rocky's statistics. The GBA game also contains all the important characters from the movies, including Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago, and Tommy Gunn.

The Rocky games will be published in North and South America by Ubi Soft. We expect to see a playable version of the game across all platforms at E3, so we'll keep you posted. Mr. T, who played Clubber Lang in the third Rocky film, will be at E3 to sign autographs and promote the game. He'll also challenge players to a live fight in the Rocky game (luckily not in a boxing ring).
