Infogrames' Loons - The Fight for Fame is an upcoming multiplayer party game based on the popular Looney Tunes franchise. Slated for Microsoft's Xbox platform, the game will pit one to four players against one another in a literal fight for fame.

Loons stars such fan favorites as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, the Tasmanian Devil, and Tweety Bird, and your goal is to impress Director Yosemite Sam and become the most popular star in the Looney Tunes cast. To do so, you must hog the spotlight with your own acting skills while disrupting the other players' intentions to do the same. It's a tap-happy party game with a beat-'em-up twist that features an arsenal of classic Looney Tunes cartoon gags, such as custard pies, falling anvils, TNT, and instant storms. Dancing, singing, and skit competitions will accompany the mayhem, while a number of classically inspired "behind the scenes" minigames aim to appeal to the retro game crowd.

Visually, the team at Infogrames Manchester House intends to use the power of the Xbox's Nvidia graphics system to create a stylized romp that combines fully rendered, seamless 3D cartoon environments with two-dimensional cartoon characters and special effects. We'll have more information on this game from the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.
