NovaLogic today announced that its upcoming vampire-themed shooter Necrocide: The Dead Must Die will feature the work of noted fantasy artists Oscar Chichoni and Isabel Molina. Both artists worked as part of the Oscar-winning production team for Miramax's 17th-century period film Restoration. The artists will help design the architectural environments featured in the different realms in the game. They will also help create the main vampire character and her mentor, who will appear on the retail box.

Chichoni and Molina also worked together on Douglas Adams' Starship Titanic, and they have acted as art consultants for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.

"This project is very exciting for us because we enjoy working with stylish themes, which are gothic in this case and make up a major element in Necrocide," Chichoni said. "We've been quite impressed by what NovaLogic is capable of, and we're looking forward to incorporating our ideas into the final vision."

For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game. Necrocide is scheduled for release later this year.
