E3 06: Crave's E3 lineup is All In

Publisher's list of games at expo features next-gen World Championship Poker, portable Dave Mirra, two from Cartoon Network.

E3 is only one week away, and that means that publishers are proudly announcing the games that will be on display at the event. The latest list comes from Crave Entertainment, based in Newport Beach, California.

The publisher is staying clear of anything that can remotely be deemed violent, but that doesn't mean it's staying clear of Sin City. The new edition of the company's biggest series, World Championship Poker, makes its debut on next-gen systems. World Championship Poker: Featuring Howard Lederer "All In" will be dealt to show attendees on the Xbox 360, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation 2. Also on the gambling tip is Hard Rock Casino, which features 20 different casino games and will be released on the PS2 and PSP.

Crave is angling toward kids with a few games based on children's programming. VeggieTales LarryBoy and the Bad Apple for the PS2 and Game Boy Advance will feature superheroes from the produce section and will be released alongside the newest VeggieTales DVD.

Camp Lazlo and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, both based on the Cartoon Network properties of the same names, will be released on the Game Boy Advance.

The full list of Crave's E3 games is below:

World Championship Poker: Featuring Howard Lederer "All In" - PS2, PSP, Xbox 360
Hard Rock Casino - PS2, PSP
Dave Mirra BMX Challenge - PSP
VeggieTales LarryBoy and the Bad Apple - PS2, GBA
Gun Club - PS2

Well, at least it's better than EA's booth. Joking! I kid the EA fans! :P There's EA fans? after reading the article and looking at their site, it looks like they are spending more on a booth at E3 then it cost to make any of the games they are going ot be showing.

here's what happened to Crave: http://www.gamespot.com/news/6136273.html A trip to the Crave website reveals that they're exclusively pandering to the "bin game" demographic of your local Wal Mart. Basically, rednecks and clueless parents.

I don't think they even need a booth.....just open the trunk of their car in the parking lot.

what in gods name happened to crave? they used to release such cool and interesting games...now they are left with whatever that list is? Wheres the cool and out there adventure games? the action games that made no sence but were fun to play? the only thing on there that seems remotly interesting is the dave mirra game and even that isn't all that great. the WCP game my nephew would like, to bad there's no xbox version coming out, though I don't see how different it will be compared to the one he has now. if your company just doesn't have the money to stay afloat with quality games anymore you shouldn't resort to getting ANYTHING (and let's face it only 2 of those are actually worth anything) just so you are making a game you should either close up shop or let some people go so you can make better games.

I used to like Crave back in the Dreamcast days (fond memories of Draconus I guess), but now as budget company I have to say eww.

Good to know this booth can be skipped.... don't make eye contact when you walk past.

If I were a game publisher, I'd be embarrassed to show up to e3 with this list. However, a lot of time/ effort is put into making games, so you never know which ones will turn out good. ... Camp Lazlo GBA... AAA anyone?
