Microids has announced that Druuna: Morbus Gravis, its latest adventure game, is heading to stores throughout North America. The game is based on Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri's surreal Italian comic series starring a woman stuck in a vegetative state of "cold sleep." Players must enter Druuna's mind through a symbiotic computer in order to save her from the dangerous characters and traps that fill the twisted world of her subconscious.

The game features 24 large real-time environments inhabited by 30 different characters. It includes 60 minutes of full-motion interactive video, interactive dialogue with lip-synched speech, and motion-captured animation. Druuna will be available in stores next week for an approximate retail price of $34.99.
