DreamMix TV: World Fighters update

Konami, Takara, and Hudson have updated the official site for the PS2 and GC title due later this year.

Comments

According to updated content on the DreamMix TV Web site, it seems the upcoming title from Konami, Takara, and Hudson will play very similarly to Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Each character in the game will have unique attacks. Once defeated, the player's character will shrink down in size but will still be able to move around in the game and obstruct other players. The "soul" of the defeated character will appear and float randomly when that character is defeated. It's not known what will happen to other players if they happen to capture the soul.

Also, a number of characters previously hidden under silhouettes have been revealed in the site's update. Only six characters remain a mystery to gamers.

DreamMix TV: World Fighters is scheduled for a PlayStation 2 and GameCube release in December. The suggested retail price is 6,800 yen (about $58).

The game's cast of characters currently is as follows:

TwinBee (Konami/Twinbee/Stinger series)
Kinomiya Takao (Takara/Bey Blade)
Momotarou (Hudson/Momotarou Dentetsu series)
Simon (Konami/Castlevania series)
Rikachan (Takara/Rikachan toy series)
Bomberman (Hudson/Bomberman series)
Pawapuro-kun (Konami/Powerful Pro Yakyuu series)
Microman (Takara/Microman toy series)
Yugo (Hudson/Bloody Roar series)
Takahashi Meijin (Hudson/Takahashi Meijin no Bouken Jima series)
Convoy (Takara/Optimus Prime from Transformers)
