Dreamcast Resident Evil 2 Confirmed
TOKYO - Resident Evil: Code Veronica gets delayed until next year, but in its place comes Resident Evil 2 for the Dreamcast.
TOKYO - Capcom has officially confirmed that Biohazard 2 (known as Resident Evil 2 in the US) will be getting a Dreamcast release this December in Japan. And as an added bonus, the game will come with a demo of Resident Evil: Code Veronica. Sadly, Code Veronica has been delayed until early next year.
The Dreamcast version of Biohazard 2 will contain all the features present in the PlayStation Dual Shock version that released in Japan a few months after the original Biohazard 2 came out. The game will also feature an Extreme Battle mode.
Capcom's Biohazard 2 on the Dreamcast will release this December in Japan for 4800 yen (US$45). A US release has not yet been announced.
