Dreamcast Castlevania at E3

E3 attendees to see the first moving pictures of Konami's Castlevania for Dreamcast, on video.

Still slated as a Dreamcast launch title (but likely to slip from that position), Konami's Castlevania will be shown at next week's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3)... in video form only. While sources state that the game has reached a playable level, it is too early to let gamers get their hands on it. Most likely it will get the big-screen video treatment that Metal Gear Solid received two years ago.

Konami recently told GameSpot News that its latest Castlevania sequel for the Nintendo 64 may also only be shown on video at E3. While the Nintendo 64 game definitely is playable, Konami wouldn't comment on whether it will let gamers try it out yet.

Expect full reports on both titles - and info on a rumored new Game Boy Color Castlevania - from GameSpot's E3news.com site next week.
