Little is known so far about Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors, besides the fact that it will be released sometime in spring 2007. However, today Square Enix opened a teaser site for Dragon Quest Swords. The site currently features only the game's logo and the promise of more to come. However, it does contain one interesting bit of additional information. Specifically, the site promised that a playable demo of this Dragon Quest installment will be on display at the Nintendo World 2006 event. This event will be held by Nintendo in several major cities around Japan throughout November.

"Dragon Warrior" for the NES was the first RPG I ever played. I've been hooked ever since. Let's bring this great franchise back to a Nintendo home console!
Cool, I think that this is a remake of a game square made with some sort of sword controller awhile back. It had poor sales and they think that it would be more accessible with a wii remote. I'm not sure what to make of it yet myself.
Can't wait for more information! ... oh wait, I'm not getting a Wii until my income tax refund next spring, I guess I CAN wait :-) I look forward to a new DQish game though, to hold me over while waiting for DQ9.
yes dragon quest games r pretty good for the most part, however this is a completely differant take on the game.. it is a fps(first person slasher) at least that is what it appeared to be in the one and only video I have seen of it.. it didnt even show the sword swinging all I seen was a slash go across the screen .. looks cool nonetheless just dont be expecting a full blown rpg game in the same vein as other dragon quest games..
