Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z announced

Upcoming team melee action title will be made for PS3, Xbox 360, and PS Vita; no release date confirmed.

Namco Bandai has announced in a new issue of Japanese magazine Shonen Jump that it will be releasing a new team-based Dragon Ball Z action title for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PS Vita.

The last Dragon Ball Z game was Kinect-able.

Dubbed Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, will feature four-player co-operative play, eight-player battle royale matches, and online multiplayer. The title's graphics will still be cel-shaded like previous entries. The game's release date has yet to be announced at this point in time.

The last Dragon Ball Z titles released by Namco Bandai were Dragon Ball Z: Budokai HD Collection for the PS3 and Xbox 360, and Dragon Ball Z for Kinect for Xbox 360. Check out the review for the latter for more information.

No more gimmicks with DBZ fighting games please.  No kinect or any of that crap. Just a straight up controller to enjoy the game.

Why can't we get another Dragonball Z RPG. Better yet why don't they finally bring the MMO over here to the west.
