Download Fallout 4 Ringtone to Get Calls From the Mysterious Stranger

He will not, unfortunately, show up and gun down your enemies.

There's a lot of cool things in Fallout 4. But that's to be expected from a game which features an enemy called Radical Roach (that's what "Rad" is short for, right?).

But probably the coolest thing in the game is the Mysterious Stranger, a trenchcoat and fedora-wearing gunslinger that randomly appears to bust a cap in whatever you're scuffling with, before vanishing into irradiated air.

It's possible to play through the entire game and not even see this character once. In fact, during the 20-ish hours it took me to complete the main story, the enigmatic gunslinger didn't even appear once for me.

This makes it extra special when you hear that unmistakable little ditty that marks his appearance and then watch as the camera pulls back to show him eviscerate an enemy with his hand cannon.

Although making the Mysterious Stranger appear is mostly out of your hands, you can relive the memory of that one time he showed up and shot a suicidal Super Mutant in the arm, detonating the bomb it was carrying and saving your butt. How you ask? Well, by downloading a ringtone version of his appearance chime.

Now whenever you get a call or text, you'll be reminded of that fortuitous moment of Wasteland badassery. It's just a shame that it'll probably end up being your cousin asking for money again or someone trying to get you to take out another phone contract. Urgh.
