Koei has today announced that it will release Disgaea: Hour of Darkness across Europe territories in May. Developed by Japan-based Nippon Ichi Software, the turn-based tactical role-playing game is already available in North America, where it was published by Atlus last year.

In the game, players assume the role of Laharl, crown prince of the Netherworld, demon, and spoiled brat. Awakening from two years of sleep, Laharl discovers that his father has died and that the Netherworld is in need of a new overlord. So he sets off to prove that he is "the chosen one."
