GameSpot spoke with Sierra today about the status of Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza, its upcoming action game based on the popular film starring Bruce Willis. According to the company, the game's AI has undergone some major changes in the past few months. The game is now close to beta stage, and it is on track for release in mid-March. A playable demo of the game is expected soon.

Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza lets players assume the role of John McClane, an off-duty police detective who must foil the plot of a group of highly trained criminals. The first-person shooter follows the story of the original Die Hard film, which was directed by John McTiernan and released in 1988.
