Diddy Makes Nintendo Proud

Nintendo of America is claiming that the N64's Diddy Kong Racing has not only become the fastest-selling game in US history (registering 800,000 units sold in its first two weeks at retail), but that within a week - if all goes according to Nintendo's estimates - the title will sell a million copies.

Other million-plus sellers for Nintendo this year are Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64, Mario Kart 64, GoldenEye 007. Cruis'n USA, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, and Wave Race 64 have already reached the million mark.
