Koei has announced a partnership deal with Atlus to bring role-playing game Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner - Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army to Europe in April.

The latest title in the Shin Megami Tensai saga comes hot on the heels of Digital Devil Saga 2, which was released across Europe on March 2.

The game is set in Japan at the start of the 20th century and is a more action-orientated game than previous titles in the series. Gamers play as the titular Raidou Kuzunoha the 14th, who works at a detective agency in Tokyo. A mysterious woman who contacts him for help is kidnapped, and as he investigates the case, it becomes clear that it is not as simple as it at first seemed.

Raidou can stun and capture demons and then summon them to fight alongside him in battles. The company describes the game as veering "from the delightfully traditional to terrifyingly dark." It will be released in Europe on the PlayStation 2 on April 27. For more information, check out GameSpot's full review.
