Devil Survivor 3DS damning North America
Atlus confirms domestic debut for enhanced port of 2009 Shin Megami Tensei DS game; Overclocked to feature full voice acting, new epilogue chapter.
New hardware launch window lineups are often lacking in role-playing games, but Atlus is looking to address that oversight shortly after the March debut of Nintendo's 3DS. The publisher today announced that it would be releasing an enhanced 3DS port of 2009's DS strategy role-playing game Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor in North America this summer.
Titled Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, the game will feature the same basic story as the original, with a group of teenagers trying to escape Tokyo after the city goes into lockdown following a demon invasion.
As for new bells and whistles, Overclocked will feature full voice acting through the game, remastered art to take advantage of the 3DS's higher-resolution screens, and an extra epilogue chapter continuing the story.
