Destiny Taken King's Limited-Edition PS4 Bundle Now Available for Preorder

The limited-edition PlayStation 4 bundle coming out to celebrate the release of Destiny's Taken King expansion is now available for preorder.

The $400 bundle consists of a slick-looking, specially designed PS4; a physical copy of Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition; and a code for an upgrade to the digital collector's edition. It'll be available on September 15, the same day as The Taken King.

The system comes with a white controller to match its primarily white design. It's also equipped with a standard 500 GB hard drive, rather than the 1 TB drive that Sony introduced in certain PS4s recently.

You can preorder the bundle from a variety of retailers, including Amazon and GameStop. Best Buy also has a page for it up, though it appears it's not offering preorders just yet.

Whether or not you're new to Destiny, this package ensures you're fully equipped to play. The Legendary Edition (priced at $60 on its own) consists of all content available to date, though you will be missing out on some real-world items only included with the Collector's Edition of The Taken King.

The Taken King is Destiny's largest expansion to date, hence the reason it'll be priced at $40 on its own. Bungie describes it as being more akin to a game, rather than DLC, as it includes new story missions, Crucible maps, and much more.
