Now Playing: Destiny: Rise of Iron - Wrath of the Machine Raid Trailer

The original story is below.

Destiny's Rise of Iron expansion came out on Tuesday, adding new story content and more. But the game's new raid, Wrath of the Machine, wasn't available at launch.

Instead, it's coming today, September 23. As announced previously, the six-player raid goes live in the game at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. We'll update this post again when it officially becomes available.

There will no doubt be a race to see who completes it first. We will circle back with more details about the raid and the first team to complete it in the time ahead. For now, you can see a video preview of the new raid in the video above.

Wrath of the Machine is one of the major components of Rise of Iron. It also adds new strikes, Crucible content, weapons, armor, and other features. You can read more about it in GameSpot's review in progress and check out the patch notes here.

Rise of Iron is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $30. You can also pick up Destiny: The Collection, a $60 bundle that comes with the base game and all DLC, including Rise of Iron.

Unlike Destiny's three previous expansions, The Dark Below, House of Wolves, and The Taken King, Rise of Iron is exclusive to new-generation consoles.
