Destiny public beta starts in July
Activision Blizzard revealed today that you'll be able to get in on the shooter from Halo-developer Bungie later this summer.

During an Activision Blizzard investor call today, the company revealed that the public beta for the much-hyped Bungie shooter Destiny is due out this July. We already knew that the beta was coming sometime this summer (and would on PlayStation platforms first), but this gives us a more specific month to wait for.
The information comes following a report from the company that overall profits for the company this quarter are down 35% year on year. However, Activision obviously has a lot of faith in Destiny; they've reportedly invested over $500 million dollars in the franchise.
Destiny launches September 9 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
