Desert Thunder rolls into retail
Groove Games' Unreal-engine-based combat game puts PC gamers inside an experimental tank.
Desert Thunder, the newest title from Canada's Brainbox Games and Groove Games, has begun to roll into stores nationwide. The game retails for $19.99 and is rated 'T' for teen.
Apparently targeting armor aficionados bored with the firepower the American M1A2 Abrams tank has to offer, the third-person, Unreal engine-based game puts PC gamers at the controls of the M1A6, its experimental cousin. Players must use the M1A6's massive arsenal to foil a terrorist organization in a variety of desert, urban, and industrial settings.
