Desert Storm II confirmed for GameCube

Gotham Games has today confirmed that Conflict: Desert Storm II - Back to Baghdad--which has already been announced for tje Xbox, PS2, and PC--is also in development for the GameCube. The squad-based action game, which is played from a third-person perspective, is based on the events of the 1991 Gulf War and will see players joining either the US Delta Forces or the British SAS on missions behind enemy lines.

"Conflict: Desert Storm II takes the squad-based realism of the first title and improves on it dramatically at every level of play," said Jamie Leece, president of Gotham Games. "From the sharper graphics to the more intuitive controls and enhanced AI, this title is sure to be a blast for fans of action and combat games."

All four versions of Conflict: Desert Storm II - Back to Baghdad are currently scheduled for release this fall.
