DC Universe Online PS4/PC Cross-Play Coming Soon

As part of a recent fifth anniversary livestream for MMORPG DC Universe Online, developer Daybreak Games--formerly Sony Online Entertainment--announced that PS4/PC cross-play support is coming soon. The developer confirmed that the feature will roll out during the week of January 25.

"Get ready to save the world TOGETHER," Daybreak said in its announcement.

DC Universe Online already supports cross-play between the PS4 and PS3 versions of the game.

In other news, Daybreak has provided something of a content roadmap for DC Universe Online in 2016. Starting in February, players can expect Episode 21 (inspired by Legends of Tomorrow), while additional storylines centered around characters like Superman and Harley Quinn will be released later.

Also coming to DC Universe Online in 2016 will be a new powerset (water), a fourth color palette option, style and gear unlocking functionality, league recruitment tools, and more. Plus, everyone who logs into the game by January 31 will receive a free DC Bombshell poster for their base or league hall, as well as a Daybreak emblem for their character.

DC Universe Online is also coming to Xbox One in spring 2016.
