Atari releases new information on the GameCube version of its Dragon Ball Z fighting game.

Comments

Atari has today released new information on the recently announced GameCube version of Dragon Ball Z Budokai, which was originally released for the PlayStation 2 last year. The 3D fighting game will allow you to play as any one of a total 23 different Dragon Ball Z characters, many of whom will need to be unlocked in the game's single-player story mode.

Dragon Ball Z Budokai will feature five gameplay modes in total, including story, duel, practice, tournament, and legend of Hercule. According to today's press release, the only major difference between the GameCube version of the game and the PS2 original is that the character graphics will be cleaner and more detailed. We'll bring you more information on Dragon Ball Z Budokai, which is scheduled for release in September, as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, you might like to check out our full review of the PlayStation 2 version of the game.
