As reported by Blue's News, iEntertainment Network will soon add Dawn of Aces III to its stable of online simulation games, which includes Warbirds III. The follow-up to Dawn of Aces II from 1998, the new game includes new World War I-era terrain and seven planes with flight models designed to realistically match the characteristics of the period's aircraft.

Dawn of Aces III will be the basis for SkyKnights, an upcoming retail game about World War I flying that's scheduled for release later this year. The retail game will include more than 30 single-player missions, including training sessions, an instant mode, and campaign missions starting in 1917. SkyKnights will have a new interface, four levels of realism, and a role-playing system to allow players to win awards and progress from lieutenant to general. The game will also ship with a mission builder.

Dawn of Aces III will soon be available for download from the TotalSims.com Web site, where it will be available for free during a two-week trial period.
