Namco Bandai has indefinitely delayed the Dark Souls II network test in North and South America, the developer wrote on its Facebook page earlier this morning.
"Due to unforeseen issues, the North and South American PS3 Dark Souls Network Test has been indefinitely delayed," Namco wrote. "We thoroughly apologize for the inconvenience and will be rescheduling the test so that everyone who downloaded the client can participate for the full duration."
"Again, we are very sorry. We'll know more about the next test soon and will post updates here."
Anyone who this information would be relevant to, already knew about all of this at 4am EST when the stress test was actually going on. I guarantee every single person in that beta was checking facebook and twitter for updates.
Also, if you're going to post irrelevant information, at least include the fact that the next stress test is on November 10th at the same time as this test was. That's really the only important bit of info that some people might have missed.
This game is so difficult, i tried Demon's Souls and could not pass of the first enemy, not because of my skills, i'm a pro gamer, i finished all Call of Duty campaigns since Modern Warfare, the game that it's broken.
I spent two hours playing the CBT. You get to choose between 5
different characters (warrior, soldier, magician etc.) and get to play
around with a very small portion of the map. The game looks exactly the
same as Dark Souls. Enemies are the same, mostly. You have your
zombies/dredglings, knights in various forms, and some bigger enemies.
You also get to fight a boss in the CBT, the "Executioner's Chariot". I'm hoping for many changes to the game when it is released in March, especially to the graphics. Also I couldn't get totally immersed in the experience as we are given a character and dropped (?) straight into thr game, but this being CBT, this was expected. After playing the CBT, sadly to say, I feel a bit disappointed...
Pretty sure it's November 10th or 12th. They were displaying a message in the Beta while i was playing that had the date. Also, the European Beta worked, but didn't really manage to summon of get summoned at all..
@Diegoctba COD series isnt hard in anyway the whole FPS scene as whole is turned into the easiest game type ever it nothing like fps from earlier generations (there is nothing hard about a game you can hide behind a wall and regen your health) . You want hard go play games the like of Ninja Gaiden on hard/Master. Or better yet go play the old NES games.
@Diegoctba I can't tell if this is a troll post or not... I'm going to take it as not a troll post though.
Demon's Souls is in an entirely different genre from the CoD series. It doesn't matter how good you are at dancing if your role is to sing, so to speak. The DS series is meant to test your wits and, yes, kill you frequently. You have to learn from your past mistakes and know what is around every corner, because even the weakest of enemies has deadly potential against the unprepared.
Action games have Ninja Gaiden, RPGs have the Demon's Souls series, and as far as shooters go I feel there isn't one specific series that is the hardest, but if you want more difficulty in them try Perfect Dark Zero on dark agent or try pretty much any of the Rainbow Six games.
What the hell? I played the beta and live in the EU. Yet the beta wasn't working either, at least not the multiplayer aspect, since no one was able to summon. So are you saying I, who is from the EU, somehow DLed the NA version of the game or joined the NA servers?
