Dark Age of Camelot update
Mythic's medieval online role-playing game receives a major upgrade that adds new spells and graphics and a new realm ability system.
Mythic Entertainment has launched the latest update for Dark Age of Camelot, its massively multiplayer online role-playing game. The new patch upgrades the game to version 1.5, and it contains a variety of new features and fixes. The biggest addition included in the patch is the new realm ability system, which allows higher-level characters to earn new abilities by engaging in realm vs. realm combat. Characters will receive one realm skill point for each realm level they attain. These points can be spent on a variety of new realm abilities.
The patch also includes a variety of changes to different parts of the game and addresses a number of bugs. For a complete list of changes and features included in version 1.5, visit the official Dark Age of Camelot community Web site.
Dark Age of Camelot was launched in October 2001. The game's persistent online medieval fantasy world is inspired by Arthurian and other traditional European legends. Players assume the role of characters in one of three warring realms, and they can develop their character by gaining experience in combat and quests.
