Dark Age of Camelot goes gold, heads to Europe

Mythic's online role-playing game is complete, and the company announces a deal to distribute and establish servers for the game in France, Germany, and the UK.

According to a company spokesperson, Mythic Entertainment's online role-playing game, Dark Age of Camelot, has gone gold and will be available in stores next month. The company also announced a partnership with GOA.com and Wanadoo Edition to distribute and establish servers in Europe for the game. Wanadoo Edition will distribute the game, and GOA will establish and support localized servers throughout France, the UK, and Germany.

Dark Age of Camelot is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in a medieval fantasy world inspired by Arthurian legends. The game takes place after the death of King Arthur, and players assume the role of a character from one of the three warring realms: Midgard, Hibernia, or Albion. Dark Age of Camelot will be available in stores in North America next month for an approximate retail price of $39.95. The game is scheduled for release in Europe in January.
