Dance: UK eXtra Trax announced

Big Ben Interactive announces an expansion pack for its Bemani-style dancing game that will add new visuals and 12 new music tracks. First screens inside.

Big Ben Interactive has today announced that it will release a Dance: UK expansion pack in the UK in April. Dance: UK eXtra Trax will be available for both the PlayStation and PS2 versions of the original game. It will add a beginner's level, difficulty ratings for each track, enhanced visuals, and 12 new tunes to the proceedings.

"eXtra Trax is the first product of its type on the PlayStation consoles," said Big Ben Interactive UK's managing director, Andrew Shephard. "The opportunity to add new songs to Dance: UK allows us to extend the brand even further and at a price point that will excite consumers."

The additional music tracks confirmed for Dance: UK eXtra Trax are as follows:

Atomic Kitten -- "Whole Again"
Blue -- "Fly By"
Darude -- "Sandstorm"
Girls Aloud -- "No Good Advice"
Ian Van Dahl -- "Castles in the Sky"
Jamelia -- "Superstar"
Jamiroquai -- "Cosmic Girl"
Javine -- "Real Things"
Liberty X -- "Just a Little"
Livin' Joy -- "Dreamer"
Rachel Stevens -- "Sweet Dreams My LA Ex"
So Solid Crew -- "21 Seconds"

The PlayStation and PS2 versions of eXtra Trax are expected to sell in the UK for 12.99 pounds ($24.27) and 14.99 pounds ($28) respectively when they arrive in stores in April. We'll bring you more information on the expansion as soon as it becomes available.
