Credit cards optional in Camelot
Mythic announces a partnership with PayByCash.com to provide an alternative subscription payment option for its online role-playing game, Dark Age of Camelot.
Mythic Entertainment has announced a partnership with PayByCash.com to give players an alternative to using credit cards to pay for subscriptions to its massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Dark Age of Camelot. The partnership will let players pay for their subscriptions using a variety of alternative methods, including Web-submitted "virtual checks," automatic debits from checking or savings accounts, Western Union "Quickpay," PayPal, Check-By-FAX, money order, wire transfer, and even cash.
Dark Age of Camelot, which was launched in early October, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in a medieval fantasy world inspired by Arthurian legends. Players pay monthly subscription fees for access to the game's servers, which host the virtual gameworld. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game, and stay tuned for our full review coming later this month.
