Create a Taunt and It Could Be Featured in Battleborn

As long as it's not offensive or indecent, your entry for this new contest will be considered.

2K Games and Borderlands developer Gearbox Software have announced a new contest for Battleborn that gives players a chance to have their own taunt featured in the upcoming shooter.

Starting today, fans can submit an entry by sending in a short video (YouTube, Instagram, Vine, etc.) of themselves performing an original taunt for any of the Battleborn characters announced so far. A team from Gearbox will then judge the entries and determine a winner based on "creativity, originality, and presentation that captures the essence of the characters in Battleborn." This taunt will then be animated and incorporated into the game. Check out the animated GIF below to see some of the existing Battleborn taunts.

As you'd expect, entries that contain copyrighted materials or are inappropriate or indecent (among other things) will not be considered. For more on this contest, read this blog post and check out the full rules here [PDF].

Battleborn, which launches for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in February 2016, is set in the "distant future" and has 25 total playable heroes. The game's story mode can be played totally alone, and also supports split-screen and online co-op. It also has a competitive multiplayer mode where teams of five can go head-to-head. The experience and items you earn in gameplay carry with you, regardless of which mode you're playing.
