This morning, Crave Entertainment announced that it is currently developing a Game Boy Advance game based on Ed, Edd n Eddy, the Cartoon Network animated series. The game will feature the three familiar neighborhood friends from the series, and it follows their quest to acquire the objects of their desire--jawbreakers. In order to win a contest in which the grand prize is a lifetime supply of jawbreakers, players will have to control all three of the friends, each with his own strengths and weaknesses, cycling between them when the need arises. There will be 12 levels in all, each prefaced and ended with a short animated cutscene.

"We welcome the opportunity to work with the teams at Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Consumer Products on developing a game that captures the fun-loving spirit of Ed, Edd n Eddy," said Ron Scott, president of Crave Entertainment. "The zany adventures of these three madcap characters will be perfect material for an engaging interactive game."

"We are excited to bring Ed, Edd n Eddy to the interactive world through our partnership with Crave," said Jamie Porges, vice president of Cartoon Network. "An interactive game is a natural extension of the show that should be well received by Ed, Edd n Eddy fans and the cul-de-sac set."
