Crash's Last Hurrah

Sony Computer Entertainment has shipped Crash Bash for the PlayStation console. Crash Bash is a compilation of minigames, and it's geared toward mutiplayer gaming. Players can ride, race, jump, and battle it out to the finish in the fifth installment of the popular Crash Bandicoot series.

"The Crash Bandicoot series has been one of the most successful franchises to date for the PlayStation, with over 16 million units sold worldwide," said Ami Blaire, director of product marketing for the Sony Computer Entertainment America. "Delivering signature Crash-style gameplay with an intense, whole new action-packed twist, Crash Bash is sure to be another favorite among consumers this holiday season."

Crash Bash will be the final game starring Crash Bandicoot to be released exclusively for a Sony console. Future incarnations will be released on the Microsoft Xbox and the PlayStation 2.
