What to look forward to
Tomorrow, our community fireside chat returns! Lark Anderson, GameSpot Product Manager, and Frances Troche, community manager will will be answering your questions about the new site launch. There were a few bumps along the way and we are here to address them! Have any questions for us? Let us know in the comments below and we will answer them tomorrow during our live stream.
GameSpot is once again participating in an Extra Life Marathon, starting on Thursday with the folks over in the UK and ending on Sunday with our AU folks. We have an ambitious goal this year of $20,000 and this year we are supporting the Children’s Hospital and Research Center in Oakland. For more information head over to our donations page.
This week in reviews both Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Battlefield 4 will be getting the review treatment so be on the look out for those. As far as New Releases go in addition to AC4 and BF4, we have WWE 2K14, Sonic: Lost World, and Football Manager 2014.

This week’s community spotlight shines on benleslie5, he’s been featured a few times for his fantastic writing style. Again we see that he has written a blog about Assassin’s Creed asking if the game is losing it’s touch or if it’s continuing to build on its ideas. He’s also one of our friendly yet fierce moderators and a frequent poster in the forums.

We need you! We are currently on the look out for your community contributions. If you have a blog post, a user review, a cool stack, some neat pictures from your latest convention, or an awesome youtube video and you want to share with the rest of the community, share it with us. Our tools are easier to use than ever before so there is little excuse for not diving headfirst into the creative pool. This will be ongoing, so step right up, and don’t be shy.
