Community News Update: Monday 10/21

It currently feels like the calm before the storm here at the GameSpot office. The team has so much awesome content in store for the next couple of months your minds will be blown. And yes, we mean literally… just kidding!

What to look forward to

This week is the start of all the awesomeness that is to come. With Batman: Arkham Origins releasing this next week, enjoy our 17-minute game play walkthrough video with Ben Mattes, Senior Producer, and Michael Mcintyre, Gameplay Director.

As I mentioned in last week’s news update, we will be hosting a Community driven fireside chat early next week. Please submit all of your issues or bugs you have come across on the new site in our forum thread, Bug Reporting & Feedback. If the issue has not been resolved by the time our fireside chat goes live, ask us live! We encourage everyone to participate because we a great experience for all of our community. However, if you feel you cannot wait till the live stream, feel free to PM Synthia, Zorine, or I about it. We don’t bite!

This week you can look forward to features from Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Beyond Two Souls and Dead Rising 3. So, be sure to stay tuned to see what we have in store.

Calling all Community Contributors

We need you! We are currently on the hunt for any and all community contributions. This means if you have a blog post or user review you want to share with the rest of the community, share it with us! If you have not yet taken advantage of our new tools, this is the time to start writing or even adding video. Our tools allow easy YouTube embedding, so you have no excuse if you think you can’t write. This will be an ongoing process, so please don’t be shy. We want to find all of our community rockstars out there and let them shine. We have a surprise in store for those who get picked. Comment below with links and we will consider your work!
