Command & Conquer Renegade goes gold
Westwood's upcoming shooter is complete and will soon ship to stores.
Westwood Studios has announced the completion of Command & Conquer Renegade, its first-person shooter set in the sci-fi universe of its Command & Conquer real-time strategy games. The game lets players assume the role of Havoc, a GDI commando character featured in the previous games. Havoc must use his explosive charges, sniper rifle, and more to keep the forces of NOD from completing their dangerous experiments. In addition to a single-player campaign, Renegade includes several team-based multiplayer modes.
Command & Conquer Renegade will be available in stores the week of February 26 for an approximate retail price of $44.99. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
