PC real-time strategy enthusiasts with little on their plate for the, oh...upcoming month, can fill out their calendar with Command & Conquer. Electronic Arts today released the series' 10-year compilation, a box set of 12 Command & Conquer games. Command & Conquer The First Decade includes the original real-time strategy game, as well as the Tiberian Sun, Red Alert, and Generals spin-offs and expansions. A bonus DVD also includes six exclusive fan-made videos and an interview with Westwood Studios cofounder Louis Castle. C&C The First Decade is rated T for Teen and retails for $39.99.

Want the latest news about Command & Conquer: The First Decade?
lol, love C&C and for the record Generals + expansion was nothing less than revolutionary, best C&C game!
It amazes me how expensive these compilations are. Considering the age of the programs in compilations they should sell for far less.
EA cut out the story that was connecting Red Alert to Tiberian Dawn. If you dont know, Red Alert was supposed to explain why TIberian Dawn and Tiberian Sun happened. Instead, Red Alert 2 completely removed that connection.
"Well ive got all the c&c but im still gona buy this box set just outa respect for all the hours/days/months/years of quality gaming the series as brought my
This is freakin sweet. And hell I don't care about it being from EA, if its a good game I'll get it.
Ohh so conflicted... love c&c but hate EA. I think ill pass just to not support that monopolistic behemoth.

"Please do not buy this package. EA is taking the credit for westwood's work and it breaks my heart to see the EA logo slapped on these masterpieces that the workers over at petroglyph (westwood reincarnated) worked so hard on. Please save your money and get Star Wars: Empire at War." Trading in one over-milked franchise for another? Yeesh. Try Act of War instead.
Almost every game in this pack is fantastic! A lot of people hate Generals, but I loved it. The real stinker was Renegade. It had great nostolgia value and it was just cool to be able to see all those buildings from up close and inside, but it really sucked overall!
There should be a movie from the Original/Tiberian Sun! With good director/actors etc. Red Alert series was awesome but Generals sucked, EA really screwed it up! But I think they could make another really good C & C if they get the right people to do the story and i actually prefer the 2D enviroment.
you're all tools. If there are any more C and C games, they will be slapping the label on crappy war games (generals) and will have nothing to do with the originals. EA sucks, they bought out westwood, and abuse the command and conquer liscence. Please do not buy this package. EA is taking the credit for westwood's work and it breaks my heart to see the EA logo slapped on these masterpieces that the workers over at petroglyph (westwood reincarnated) worked so hard on. Please save your money and get Star Wars: Empire at War. Thanks
I stopped playing after Yuri's Revenge. Actually the only RTS I've bought since then is Rome: Total War, come to think of it.
if they make the original red alert networkable i'll definately buy this. that's my fav RTS of all time. it wasn't compatible with win XP so they made a patch for it, which killed all network support. *prays*
Command & Conquer's are great games to play.. but i hate the look of generals the gamplay is c**p.....
Louis Castle already stated this is called "The First Decade" for a reason people. Many more C&C games are in our future. Quit complaining. They wil come. I cant wait to own this pack. And I am looking forward to new games in the future.
i'm willing to fork in the money for that just cuz i love the c & c games and its worth it if u love the games enough...although i know this is another way to milk us gamers...
