US gamers will get a good chance to see some of the world's best at the World Cyber Games finals this October, as the globetrotting competition makes its last stop in Seattle. However, next year it's going abroad again.

The WCG today announced that the finals for the 2008 competition will be held in Cologne, Germany. The Cologne Messe (Koelnmesse), a large exhibition hall, will play host to the event.

Last year's event was held in Monza, Italy, and attracted more than 700 participants and 25,000 spectators, according to the WCG. The organization expects roughly the same amount for this year's event in Seattle.
