UK-based developer and publisher Codemasters has nabbed three industry veterans to help expand its presence in the North American market.

Heading up the US management team will be Geoff Mulligan, former COO of Konami. Before his most recently held position at Konami, Mulligan worked as senior vice president of business development at Acclaim, and president of Activison International.

Another former Konami executive, Catherine Fowler, will be joining Codemasters as senior vice president of publishing. She was previously senior vice president of sales and marketing at Konami, where she worked on building brand awareness for franchises like Dance Dance Revolution and Castlevania.

The final person joining the team will be Charles Bellfield in the position of vice president of marketing, from his previous position as vice president of marketing at Capcom. Codemasters also announced that Bill West would be promoted to vice president of global strategic planning.

Codemasters was founded in 1986, and has developed titles including the TOCA touring car series, the Colin McRae Rally series, and the Brian Lara International Cricket series. In Europe, the company operates the massively multiplayer role playing game The Lord of The Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. The company established its US office in 2006, and currently has "aggressive plans" for growth in the North American region, according to the company's statement.
